Chapter 91
Today, Cassa was ready to go to Maria and Charles’ house in the village early in the morning. This was a day she had been eagerly waiting for, as she would also be picking up Dawson to bring him back home.
Perhaps Dawson would feel strange towards her after this and misunderstand, as she hadn’t come to pick him up even after finding out that he was her child.
“Lukas, are you ready to go?” Cassa asked, waiting for her son to come down from the second floor. Lukas was staring at himself in the mirror when he heard her voice.
“Yes, Mom. I’ll be right down,” Lukas answered and quickly grabbed his phone from the bed before descending the stairs.
Lukas saw Cassa about to take the car keys and stopped her hand. The young man felt a bit sad because he had to part with his mother, even though it was just for a year, and Cassa allowed him to come to this house more often.
