"I'm not really sure. I don't know," Hector answered quietly. I glanced at him, seeing the sadness in his eyes, so I reached for his hand and held it tightly.
"We can bring her to our house if you want," I suggested, making both of them look at me.
"I mean, while you're figuring out what to do, we can have her with us at home. There's an empty room on the 3rd floor. She can stay there, Hector," I continued.
I felt his grip on my hand tighten, so I smiled. This was what he had been thinking all along.
"Are you sure?" He asked, seeking reassurance, and I nodded.
"I'm sure Amari will be happy to see how beautiful her grandmother is. She's smart; she'll understand," I assured him.
"I'll arrange to have her transferred to your house immediately," Anton said, making my smile widen even more.
