Movie Date

My eyes widened at what he did. My heart was freezing like I was in the middle of the sea, and my knees trembled like a child.

I quickly glanced at Rexon with arms folded tightly across his broad chest. The left side of his thin lip tugged upwards, creating a sly smirk on his numb face.

“Yeah, I’ll see you tomorrow,” I muttered.

He smiled slightly at me then turned to Rexon to pat him on the shoulder.

“I’ll go ahead, Mr. Superstar,” he teased again. I haven’t seen the reaction he gave to Rexon because he turned his back on me. It was only then when I shrugged and shook my head.

Rexon’s face was unexplainable. I also don’t know how to start talking now. I feel like we’re as close as strangers since Nicholas’ car moves away.

“So, what’s up?!” I smiled widely at him to put aside the awkwardness between us.

But he didn’t answer. Ins
