Chapter 43

Cody decided to sleep in his mother’s house that night, he was still not sure if he had done the right thing by starting the relationship with Lizzie. He prayed and hoped he would not break her heart sincerely.

While Cody was thinking the cat entered his room again and lay close to him. Cody then looked at the cat and when he noticed it was the same one as before he was happy.

Cody then said, “I made you a promise that the next time I see you, I shall keep you and make you mine, I shall name you Marcellus, you shall be mine and I will make you my cat.”

The cat prowled to show that he was in approval of what Cody had just done. Cody then lay down to sleep and he remembered kissing Lizzie’s forehead. He hoped he had not gone too far doing so.

Cody lay down on his bed trying to forget that he had just told Lizzie that he would be her boyfriend, but that was not something he can forget. He thought of just pretending he had not done anything like that in the morni
