Chapter 53

What a pain in the ass, I thought, rolling my eyes. Women everywhere are the same. They really like talking about bad things behind the backs of people they do not like anywhere, even in the bathroom.

“Why are you talking about her? Do you feel envy since Mr. Lawrence prefers our Leah over you?”

From inside the bathroom, I could hear Dania’s voice reprimanding the female employees, who had talked badly about me. 

In my heart, I feel grateful for what she was doing.

“Uh, what the heck is she doing? Come on, let’s just go!” said one of the female employees, who seemed to invite her flock to leave the two of us.

I rushed out of the bathroom and saw Dania, who had her hands on her hips while carrying a bucket of water ready to be poured on them. 

As soon as she saw me coming out of the bathroom with a confused expression, she immediately put the bucket back on the floor near the bathroom door in a daze.
