I have become used to the darkness now. After travelling in this box or whatever they contained me in, my wrists seared as they were bound to my front by magic. That was the only explanation for the ability to restrain me.

"You did fail me," I replied with a guttural growl "Because of you, we're being taken to the Elder's for our punishment. Execution in the highest form,"

"You could be wrong," Evander said trying to sound cheery "The Elders may be easy on us,"

"Fool" I replied "You absolute moron, we will die without a doubt,"

"I accept the blame, I'm not good enough to be your wolf Rory," Evander's voice sounded fragile.

"You're pathetic, leave me be in my final moments" I said cruelly "The last thing I
