Chapter 23. His Obsession

Kai's POV

Making my way past the library, it wasn't somewhere I usually bothered with. Reading was not good for my mind, why waste time reading when you can just watch the movie?

I chuckled as I thought how dumb my brother was for not thinking that before I had, idiot. All those hours he spent with his nose in a book. No wonder he never had a girlfriend, women hate reading.

It was then, distracting my thoughts I heard the soft voice of conversation from the library. The door was closed, which wasn't like Oris at all. He always left the library door open. He said the knowledge of books may escape the library and root itself into my brain to make me smart. I was smart, I had street smarts, knew the way of the world and how to maintain my street cred. Oris knew nothing about being cool.
