Chapter 21. So-Called Business Discussion

Jackson walked out of the club as he took a deep breath.

He had been worried about Gladys and different scenarios had played in his mind.

He didn't care who the person she might have met was, but the ugly truth that she was still out dining with a guy was making him anxious and wondering what business talks take so late.

Jackson take a glimpse at his phone and sees that it was past 10.

He walked to his truck after pondering so much about whether to go look for Gladys although he knows it might seem lame of him.

He scrolled on his phone with his finger, trying to place a call to Gladys but it wasn't going through.

Jackson sighs again and he opts to check if she was back without him knowing about it.

He knew if she was back, she would have come to the club because she doesn't like missing Friday clubbing.

The vibe and so is just so glamorous... As Gladys would say.
