Chapter 22. Tormented by Caden

Gladys couldn't figure out why he left her in the restaurant.

After the waiter had informed her that Caden was gone, she sat on the chair of the restaurant trying to get her thousands of thoughts together.

She couldn't believe he left her, just like that without saying a word.

He had aroused her and had asked her to prepare to follow him to his house but she couldn't find him.

Does he think she's cheap? Or did reality dawn on him that she wasn't his type? Or was he playing a game of hard-to-catch to her?

Multiple thoughts had run through her and Gladys had calmed herself, regretting bitterly for acting so lustfully like him.
