Chapter 31. Gladys' Mother
"And. What's the letter containing about?" Caden asked narrowing his brows at Alfred as they walked to the elevator.
"Informing her to leave as soon as she can," Alfred answered and Caden halted taking a quick look at him.
"Tone?" Caden asked still looking at Alfred.
"I definitely can't..." Alfred paused seeing that Caden was looking icily at him. "Uhm... Professional."
"You really shouldn't have bothered writing anything." Caden scorned and Mr. Alfred bowed a bit.
The elevator opens as they walk in.
It was Saturday morning.
Caden had left the sleeping Gladys to have the bed all to herself after seeing that she was disturbingly tossing around the bed making him lose sleep.
He had left the penthouse early that morning, even before the sun could show up, and had lodged in a hotel he held shares in.
