Chapter 84. For Good
Gladys zipped her bag after finishing packing all that she would need in Los Angeles, and she walked to her wardrobe.
She opened it for the hundredth time, searching for nothing in particular because she felt like she was missing someone or something.
Maybe Caden?
She shook her head Immediately as though the thought of Caden would disappear from her head as she shut the wardrobe door hard and walked to her bedside table.
She sat down on the chair, looking at her reflection in the mirror.
It has been a long tiring day after she heard Alfred deliver what Caden had asked him to tell her.
She had cried throughout the night that she had asked her mother to prepare her flight and had had a bit of faith in Caden, thinking perhaps just one more day he might show up, but she ended up waiting in vain and had even sworn that she dare not date any guy richer than her, she nearly wondered if she will ever move on.
