6. Hot Sex With Her Crush

I technically sprinted to the door, pressing my sides against it.

Clenching my jaw tightly, I listened to her light knocks.

“Hey, um, I came to give you these.” She said in a small voice.

Fighting the urge to roar at her and tell her to get lost, I slackened my weight against the door, running my fingers through my hair in exasperation.

“Hello? Are you there?” Knocking much harder, she asked at the top of her voice, and I reluctantly twisted the doorknob open.

Settling with the fact that Mom's morning lecture on how pushing people away will only worsen my depression would be inevitable if I send Zoey away, I had to let her in.
