14. Hot Sex With Her Crush

I wasn't about to act the nice neighbor part by inviting her in even when it was just me.

But a part of me was scared some other asshole would invite her in and take what was mine.

What was mine? What was it anyway?

“Um, where's Mrs. Gray?” She asked as I made my way to the kitchen island to get mugs for us.

A minute ago I was going to make just one cup, but life was unpredictable.

“Take a seat.” I ordered, brushing off her question, and her brow shot up.

“Then your dad? Is he not home?” She asked again, and my jaw clenched tightly as I turned off the switch for the electric jug.

“Tea or coffee?” I ignored her again, already making her tea because I've known what she liked for years.

“Can you answer me like a proper human being?” She asked in frustration as she dumped her bag on the couch, walking up to me.
