Chapter 124. Forgiveness

Jennifer’s POV

As I was focusing on my target, I made myself calm and composure… the targets are composed of ten rings that get smaller that closer to the middle. Each of the rings of my target gets worth more as you get closer to the center gold circles. The innermost ring is equivalent to ten points and the outer ring is worth one point only. They started to time me. For this, I get 20 seconds to shoot the first arrow.

After a while, I heard the signal to move to the shooting line. After that, I heard someone whistle again and I walked up to the end line to wait for another signal. I took a deep breath and I heard the one whistle blow which said that I had to shoot the target.

I heard the final signal is three whistle’s which means I had to stop shooting and retrieve my arrows from the target. While walking back to my place I heard the people cheering me up and applauding me.

That brought a smile to my face while I did the last shot.
