Jennifer’s POV

“You don’t have to worry, your cousin in the next leader.”

I sighed in relief. “Then why is my father giving me this ring instead of Gerald?” I asked.

“That’s because your dad wants you to have it,” he said and I shook my head.

“No, Gerald should have it, I can’t accept it,” I said.

“Okay, so you want me to give this ring to him?” He asked and I shook my head again.

“No, I will.”

“Better, so let’s go because you are getting late for the moment of truth,” he chuckled and I smiled while he kissed my forehead.
