Jennifer’s POV

“I hate this school,” Tommy said while he and the boys sat down at our usual spot. Tommy gave Reyna a kiss on her forehead. They’re dating and I’m so happy for my best friend.

“Hey,” Bob said and kissed my cheek while sat beside me and he wrapped his arm around my waist. He pulled me closer to him.

They all started to talk and laughed with each other while I was listening to their stupid things.

“Did you guys hear the news?” Samantha asked.

“What news?” Reyna asked back.

“The prof said we are going to have a new student? She’s a girl,” Samantha replied. “I heard that she’s very beautiful,” she added and I chuckled.

“Is she already here?” Aaliyah asked and Samantha nodded.

“Why haven’t I seen her?” Aaliyah asked.

“Me too,” Samantha said.

“Jennifer!” I heard someone shout my name from behind. I turned around and I saw Coach Mendez speed walking towards me.

“Hey, Coach,” I stood up and greeted her.<
