I was on the training ground with the squad, briefing them on the assignment I wanted them to accomplish. I went to Xander’s office after and overheard him and Limuel talking about Sena. “That woman is not going to stop until he gets in here. I’m sure that it was her plan for bringing the boy and introducing him to you.”

“I know that, but I am not going to let that happen. I didn’t want Chassy to feel threatened because of her,” Xander replied. I know that Sena is not going to stop unless she gets what she wants. Just like my mate, I am not letting everything go according to her plan. But if it is inevitable, I will make sure to keep my eyes on her.

“Why are you talking about her like that? What if Ethan comes in and overhears you?” I asked when I opened the door and got in.
