Somehow, I managed to get to Pink's apartment, punching her door as I felt my knees threaten to give in to the tremor that was spreading through my muscles. And it took her so long to meet me that I ended up slipping down the wall and sitting on the floor, and when I did that, it was when I first noticed it on my barefoot and filthy foot, while the other one still made fun of good hygiene very well stuck under the sneakers.
I should be a rag. My knees were hurt, with small painful scratches. My dress was dirty with dark earth, and even if it was red, the tone did nothing to hide the filth.
