“Did you see that?”

“She didn’t even beg the kitty like we did. It just jumped right on her.”

“I knew we were wasting our time. She didn’t even lift a finger,” The girls murmured, staring at me.

I tried my best to look away from them and focus on the cutie in my arms, but Fiona’s face wouldn’t let me. She was dying of jealousy and struggled to hold it in.

I was enjoying this moment.

Even the others failed to see that their words were annoying her by the minute. I could tell she was going to erupt any time soon.
