“There’s no way Allen noticed that fight. The fool was busy praising Fiona that day. He’s just assuming,” I believed

“I am a fighter myself and I know when I see a skillful warrior. You won that match but allowed Fiona to take your place. She’s… she’s not meant to be out there battling, but you. I’m supposed to be sitting at that arena, watching you fight to be by my side as my Luna. But you left me, Eve,” he spoke, sounding emotional.

“You just left, wiping me out of your heart. Why? Is it because I chased you away that day?” he asked, referring to his behavior at his study room.

“I’m sorry, Evolet. I wasn’t in my right mind that day. Someone had made me angry, and I didn’t know when I allowed it to shadow my mind. Honestly, I felt bad and wanted to apologize, but I was so busy. If only I had done what was right, you wouldn’t have left me.”

He drew close, tempted to touch my face. But he just paused, sighing out. “I wish you never left, Evolet.
