Authors POV

Tracy sat on the couch, her palms clutching her arms tightly. She sank into the chair as cold surged through her.

Alex walked into the sitting room which had a very dark lightening, with a cup of coffee in his hand.

Alex had turned the seating room that way just to reduce the cold Tracy was feeling.

“Have this.” he stretched the cup of coffee to her and Tracy took it, gulping down nothing.

“Thank you,” she said softly, and he chuckled.

“You are welcome pretty,” he replied and Tracy’s stomach tightened into a not.

He was not just a handsome guy, he was caring, yet he was good with words. She thought to herself.

Alex sank onto the couch beside Tracy and turned on the television.

It was a rare thing in Axel’s house to watch a movie, it was close to being forbidden. Axel was not always at home so nobody would watch television. The last movie that Hazel watched was the series, Ongoing.
