Kendra’s POV

I was packing my things while the driver was waiting for me to be discharged from the hospital.

I’ve already talked to the doctor, and Jones already settled the bills, so I am now free to go. But the moment I stepped out of my room, an unwanted witch appeared riding her wheels.

“We need to talk,” she openly announced, confident that I would just go with her.

To remind her of her place, I ignored her and went my way.

But she was too persistent and yelled in desperation, “Please! I want to apologize to you! Have a drink with me!”
