Kendra’s POV

In my deep sleep, a series of phone rings entered my dream. I was having a great dream, a perfect dream where my mom was still alive, and I was happily married to Johann, and Grandpa and the Peteresens officially welcomed me.

I wish it was true, especially the part where my mom was alive and Johann was happily married to me.

But right now, Johann and I are just married, but not happy. I felt annoyed at the ringtone that disrupted my perfect dream.

So when my phone rang again, I intentionally ignored it. Yet, the phone didn’t stop after several calls. So I finally got up to check who’s been busy calling me this early morning.
