Bennett nodded, his expression serious as well. “Go ahead, Captain. What’s the latest?”

The captain cleared his throat. “Well, Alpha, the pack is still reeling from the aftermath of the war. We’ve lost many good fighters, and the morale is low. But we’re working to rebuild and restore order.”
