Chapter 58. We Leave Now

Bennett’s POV

My gut told me that the Nightshade Pack was behind Emma’s disappearance, and I couldn’t shake off the feeling that she was being held against her will in their territory. I imagined her being trapped, scared, and alone, and it fueled my determination to act fast.

I called Hunter and Parker, filling them in on my suspicions. “We need to move now,” I said, my voice firm. “I think Emma’s being held in Nightshade territory.”

Hunter’s voice was resolute. “Let’s gear up and get moving. We’ll get her back, Bennett.”

Parker’s growl was audible. “Those Nightshade wolves will regret taking her.”

My eyes narrowed. “We’ll get Emma back, no matter what it takes.”

“If I remember clearly, they were never nice to her, and she suffered a lot in that pack. The Alpha would be the last person to actually care about her. She was there all those times, and he never really cared about her. I fear he might try to hurt her for whatever happened to her
