I watched from a distance, waiting for Connor Remington to crawl back to me and beg for mercy. I expected him to run around like a headless Chicken, begging for help.

I guess he knew all along that I am behind his misfortunes. And he never said or did anything about it, he did not seek help from me, and he did not come and apologize to me because he is a damn proud bastard. Instead, he ran to his dear friend, Evans Osborne and he signed a merger with the Osbornes. That way, they will have the money they need to pay off the bank and still keep their last ship.
