I hurried to comb my hair and apply my makeup so I can leave the room before he gets back there. I packed my purse, laptop, and phones into my bag, and I went back to the closet to pick up my stilettos from the shoe rack. I saw him standing in the middle of the walk-in closet, wearing his shoes as well. I don’t know how he did it, but he dressed so quickly. 

I guess he still remembers that we have a lot to do at work today. It’s a good thing that he did not let himself be distracted by her presence. At least I know that he still has me in his heart.
