Chapter 49. Ambushed (1)

Drake’s POV

“Get Miles on the phone, send him this location  I need him there in thirty minutes. Tell him to take some guys along with him, he may meet some obstacles on the way. But no matter what happens, I need him to make sure he has Danny’s family on sight in the next thirty minutes.” I instructed Liam as we all got into the car to meet with the mob bosses before they get here.

It would have been safer to ambush them right here on my property, but I don’t want to attract any attention to myself. 

I just got back to this town a few weeks ago, and the last thing I want is for the cops to start digging into my past, trying to find out why I got attacked by mob bosses. They may find out that I have a connection to the Mafia, and with time, I will be exposed as the Godfather and my family would be in danger. Besides, I love this house, I want to create sweet memories with Mia in this house, and not have it blown away by these bastards.
