Chapter 13. Impressed

Diva took her purse and ran behind Blaze. He didn’t even look back as he continued walking.

“Blaze, hold up!” she hollered.

Blaze didn’t stop walking though. He just started taking slow steps so that Diva could catch up with the pace.

“Can you drop me to the hospital?” she inquired.

He thought for a while. When he looked at her, he remembered the day Diva got sick because of him – just because he didn’t give a drive.

“Fine.”

Diva grinned at him and mumbled, “Thank you so much!”

They walked toward Blaze’s car and she hopped in the passenger seat. She was excited because it was the first time her husband actually agreed to give her a ride.

As soon as the car started, Diva began speaking, “I was ready to give you a speech if you didn’t agree to drop me at the hospital.”

He didn’t answer her. He didn’t feel the need to reply.

She said, “I will go to the office after I visit Lina. I still have enough time before my office starts
