So Far So Good

“Soo-Yun, I am fine, my daughter.” Mrs. Leon smiled weakly, making her let out a deep breath. She sat down on the bed, letting a small smile form as she saw her mom smiling at her. 

“I’m just happy you’re okay. But if you need me, I’ll come running no matter where I am.” She promised, looking at her mom with a sad smile. Her mother nodded in understanding and then looked at her with a smile again. 

“Thank you for watching over her. And thank you for the food I’ve been eating.” She gave an apologetic look to Soo-Yun. “I know how hard it is for you not to be able to eat or sleep, but please don’t take that out of your heart and mind. You are doing great, and I’m proud of you.” She added looking at her daughter with so much love.
