Shlok's POV
She asked me about the dress, but I didn't know what to say. She looked beautiful, gorgeous, like a fairy… but maintained a composed demeanor.
Setting a bottle of aged white wine on the table, I remarked about our unexpected attire for dinner.
Taking her hand, I brought it to my lips before pulling out a chair for her. She looked nervous. I served the meal she had prepared, smiling at the sight of aamras, a gesture that brought warmth to the moment.
As we dined, I offered her wine, which she declined. We were enjoying the meal and even trying the aamras upon her insistence, nodding in approval.
I was very aware of her wearing that elegant and classic dress, it accentuated her toned body. I teased her about the possibility of the dress belonging to the ghost and his beloved, causing a momentary shiver of fear from her before my laughter filled the room.
