As Mihir and Tami plunged their hands into the bowl, their fingers brushed, sending a jolt of electricity through them both. The room was filled with laughter and cheers, with Mahi and Ron teasing the couple, urging them on. Finally, Tami emerged victorious, holding the ring high above her head two times out of three chances. Mihir pretended to pout, but his eyes gleamed with pride and affection.
Roshni cheered for Tami while Manik kept looking at her with fascination.
Next, the couple faced a challenge to untie the knots of kalawa (long pieces of thread tied around their wrists). The task was symbolic of working together to solve life's challenges. As they fumbled with the thread, their hands continually brushed against each other, causing fits of laughter from others and shy glances from Tami. Mahi teased them, "You two seem to be more interested in each other than the knot!" Everyone laughed.
