Shit! Can't she stay put for some time??

What the hell was she up to now??

I rushed to her room but was alarmed by Gauravi's disappearance.

Oh, God!! Where could she have gone now??

She will get us killed very soon like this.

Panic surged through me as I imagined the worst, cursing Arun for any potential harm befalling her.

I will kill that bast*** if he tries to... harm her.

I was pacing in her room like a charged bull, and just then, I heard footsteps coming towards the room.

The footsteps were sure of some lightweight girl; it was definitely her, so I let her come in. I could feel that she was about to shriek, but I smothered it by clamping a hand on her mouth, and I held her tightly.

She finally returned, and relief washed over me, quickly overshadowed by anger at her recklessness.

"Where have you been?" I asked rudely.

We argued, and finally, I had to shout at her.
