After Party

Becky took her hand off Harvey, her eyes darted around the room, and were so embarrassed that everyone was staring at her with pity and the most conspicuous of all was Mrs. Johnson. She seemed busy whispering with several people around her while pointing at her.

She didn't know what kind of power possessed her until he suddenly dared to push Helena Renner away from James Miller and made her fall on the floor.

"Shame on you!" she hissed in annoyance. She did that not out of jealousy, but because she felt humiliated by the gazes of those who pitied her.

Helena Renner snorted, she got up with the help of her bodyguard and walked closer to Becky.
