Nothing Last Forever
Becky stepped out of the bathroom with wet hair, she was surprised to see the room was clean. All the things she destroyed had been removed from there and the room looked very empty.
“How did you do it all in just thirty minutes?” she asked James who was relaxing on the sofa.
"Told you I can do anything," he said lightly, "Get dressed, I'll take you shopping."
"What? Shopping? I don't need that," said Becky, shaking her head.
“No, you need it! Don't you wanna change that white dress with another color?"
Becky looked at him in amazement, “Are you for real?”
James just shrugged curtly. It might sound like something trivial, but for Becky, it was a big step. Because the white dress that she had always been wearing was a symbol of slavery that James made for the women who became his slaves. That meant there was little hope for her...
