Lucy's POV

My installation as the Gamma is a few days away, I have to be serious with whatever I'm doing, the tasks which have been assigned to me. Dad comes in at times to see how I'm doing and how well I'm going in my new work.

Mom walks into the office unexpectedly now, when I heard footsteps at first, I thought it was dad as usual. Mom rarely comes in here so there must be something of great importance she has.

I raise up my head and eyes from the system before me to look at her. She had a serious tone on her face. "I got some big surprise for you."

"What's that?"

"I've got a personal assistant for you," She smiles. I forced one, initially I wanted frowning or speaking up in disappointment. Some money cake or gift is a huge surprise not a PA. I would have told my mom but I don't want to sound rude. I have to be respectful all the time.
