Lucy's POV

I wanted to show my anger by sleeping with Carter. Carter was wiser here. He chose not to be the gimmick of my emotions.

I honestly don't know what to think. I could not believe he acted this way towards me. I then started and thought about the whole thing. I was actually going to make a big mistake of which I would regret immediately after.

This made me appreciate Carter. I initially thought he was nice to me because he wanted to use it as a bait to get me to be free with him, so I could let him fuck me, but that wasn't the case. He abruptly refused to fuck me even after I got naked before him.
