Eric’s POV

I just left. "When she wakes up and does not see me, she will know I have left for work." I said to myself.

In about an hour, I was ready for work. I could see Lucy's car leaving for work when I came out to enter mine.

I soon drove out of the palace, heading for the workplace.

Reaching, everything was in place as usual. I went straight to my office and sat down, waiting for the day's business to arrive.

Soon, work started coming in and I was attending to them. I heard a knock on my door and wondered who it was.

"Come in." I said. Amelia then opened the door and entered.

I stood up at once. "Amelia." I said.

"Yes my love. When I woke up, I didn't see you, so I decided to come visit you." She explained to me.

"You didn't have to." I said to her.

"I have to. You are not a mate and I have to always make sure you are feeling good." As she said this, she already came to me, climbed up and kissed me.
