My heart rang with something I just got to discover right away. “Did you invite Caroline?”

“Wait!” My mom rose with horror written on her face. I smiled, asking her to sit.

“She's not here and there's nothing to bother about, we will talk over this issue.”

“I'm so sorry, it really skipped my mind but we can send a car to pick her up here.”

“Don't worry, I'm already here!” I turned to see Caroline behind me sending off a rich, powerful smile. “I understand ma'am you must have had a difficult time sending the invitation email to all those manually selected. I heard of this and decided to come.” She smiled, from here I rose and walked out of my seat.

I fell on her arms, hugging her so tight and was going to shed tears of joy. “Finally, we are seeing each other again and wouldn't be parting anymore.”
