“Mom, why did you hide all what was going on from me? What did you hope to achieve?” I raised my voice high in pitch.

“Are you angry at me?” She lashed back at me. Her disposition suddenly changed, tears formed in her eyes, just as mine.

“Why will you endure all what went through and you didn't let me know?” I repeated.

“Baby, you know how everyone hated you and wanted to eliminate you. That's one major reason why she took away your room and that of your kids. They didn't want anything that would remind them of you.”

“Gosh!” I hit my hand so hard on my hip.

“So where did the kids stay then?”
