Chapter 202

Carla's POV 

"Why are you dressed extravagantly today? This will be the first time I'm seeing you putting on makeup." One of them asked the warden. She smiled happily at us. For the first time I'm seeing prisoners acting cordial with their warder, perhaps it depends on the type of person she is. 

"Today is the Alpha King's birthday and he has chosen our prison to visit and do some amnesty. Luckily about thirty persons out of the thousands here will be released. I know it's not such a great amount but he has tried, everyone can't be taken out of prison at once." 

I imagined if I could be one of those that would be released, it's just a fantasized imagination with such a small number that would be released. If I'm not among them, then I'm doomed forever. I'll try my luck this time around!
