Carla's POV 

Raising my eyes to see him glaring at me from the corner of the corridor with his arms crossed over his chest, I got the gift bag from him, immediately waved sorry. 

I got inside, without even looking into what's inside, I rushed out to the kitchen. When I came out, I no longer found him outside. Maybe he went inside his room. The equipment here was so sophisticated, I had to use the knowledge from my serving at the Alpha's house to operate those here. 

I opened the refrigerator only to step back in surprise. "What did you think when I told you I had all you needed to make me a good dinner?" I shrugged, turning in a flash to see the king walking towards me in only a white singlet and a pair of shorts.
