Carla's POV 

Mom has always talked about marriage with me, I'm already graduating from College, only a year is left. I didn't expect a man to say the same thing she has been saying. Carter storms out of the house, the prince follows up after him, I close my eyes, hot tears begin to flow.

"Mom, why did you call me to witness such a humiliation?" I turn to blame her. She leads me out of the room, back to where she took me from. There she sits me on the bed, dad walks in with a worried face.

"What's going on, Carla? Do you know him from somewhere?" He sounds so curious, of course, there's no one that wouldn't be curious, seeing your daughter talk to a famous celebrity and the Alpha King that way, particularly one that is a known flirt. My parents surely suspect something, which implies I tell them the truth before they get to believe something not true.
