Lucy's POV 

“Why did you return to welcome this news? Why did I ever return back with my kids, I would have lived there and raised my kids.” I was beginning to regret my happiness of having my mate return back with me. I even wondered if I should have kept my kids away from him and even the fact that we are mates. 

I shook my head. “It's not going to be possible.” I shook my head, breathing hard. My tears were slowly drying up as I was wallowed in regrets. 

“Come on, love.” My wolf told me, same thing with Eric. They were speaking at the same time which made me glare up at him in surprise. “We will handle this together, did I tell you I'll leave you?” Eric asked me, I looked through his eyes and saw the deep bond we shared together reflected in his eyes. 

Crying over this decision wasn't going to bring any positive result, so far I've lived my life in sadness and despair, trying my best to be happy. From when Eric rejected
