Serena's POV 

He patted her on the shoulder. The part of him saying she could stay in the estate triggered jealousy in me. I waited to get out of here before I asked him again.

"Come, let's go baby." He draped his hand over my shoulders leading me away, I knew we were going nowhere other than to prepare for our wedding. I promised myself not to be angry today, jealousy is part of this, I've got to clear this off my mind.

So I raised my face towards him, he gave me sideways glare. "What's that?" He knew he had done something wrong, he asked me even before I got to part my lips.

"Why would you ask her to stay a little longer?" I snapped, getting my eyes tight, I wanted him to know I wasn't pleased with this.

He laughed, patting me on the back. "Try to be more understanding, lest you wouldn't get what I do." He breathed out. "Since you are going to see your uncle tomorrow and will stay for a while, it's good she remains here to avoid
