Carter's POV

Serena and I were the only ones staying in our apartment on this massive yacht, there could be no other item that belonged to a woman apart from hers and if there was, Mara would surely reply.

Few minutes later, she returned to me shaking her face. I was thrown into disappointment and happiness, better said I was confused but then I realized it was time for me to say goodbye.

"Hope you're sure?" I requested confirmation from Mara before I asked her to get in, so we can sail the yacht back to the estate.
