Carter's POV

"It's okay, thanks so much. I have a reward for you, I'm just figuring out what to do right away, don't worry, I'll update you later." I was on my way of ending the call. 

"Wait!" I heard him say, I was surprised. "I think you should focus on Serena, I know how great this can be a challenge for you but you can just go for a surrogate. What do you think about this?"

I thought for a while. "This isn't the issue, the main issue is who I'd get to perform this task, I sense it has to be a secret by nature of my call, so we don't need any kind of person and the child has to resemble me." My thought went to Carla but I shrugged my shoulders, I don't want to have anything to do with her. 

"Alright, thanks so much. I'll think about this." I ended the call before I revealed my emotions, I couldn't afford to do this. Immediately I ended the call, I stopped right on my tracks. I didn't see Carla's homecoming as any big deal apart f
