Carter tapped on my laps. "Don't go deep into all these, she's already getting what she deserves." He said kind of in a low tone, probably he didn't want to say it to her. He was a shifter monk and an Alpha King after all, so I couldn't blame him if he acted more composed, he was obligated to. 

"Stay here!" He said to her, "In the next twenty minutes, an Uber driver will be coming to get you to your hotel, we would book a hotel for you right away but just make sure you are available for the..." His voice trailed off, I even wanted to tap him to remind him of our earlier plan to take Carla by surprise, she didn't need to know there was gonna be a court case to prevent her from running away. That would be an additional stress to find her.
