Bella’s POV 

"What!" He screams with joy.

"Why are you excited?" I ask.

"I have been worried about how you will survive in the pack estate without me. I know the issues you are going through, the challenges are huge as max told me."

"Max told you?" I'm scared to hear this, I don't even know what to say, if I'm scared right now or just doubtful of this. Max is my stepsister, though she has been good to me sometimes and hasn't taken part in the oppression. I'm amazed to hear that she told Barlas what I'm going through. This clearly shows that she isn't supporting what her mom and sister are doing.

"Yeah, let me leave you to continue your conversation with your boyfriend. I will be leaving by night, let me just give enough time. Love you sis."

"Love you too. Thank you." He hangs up. I sigh in relief, then I look up to Melech .

"Sorry about that book." I use the fond name I've been calling him online.

"No, no, you don
