Bella’s POV 

Suddenly the door bangs open and I see the next thing the Alpha does is to take his hands to his head with his eyes and mouth wide open. I wonder if he will know the ones on the ground because I had devoured them beyond recognition, especially Layla whom I used all the anger in the world to.

"What the hell is this?" I want to jump over his head but he shifts within a second and grabs me, his wolf is very large compared to mine.

"Don't worry. Nothing will happen to you, no matter how things get screwed up. I, your mother, promise you this." I hear my mom's voice speak from the shadows.

Though I'm glad about what I've done, I know I'm in danger so I signal Barlas who is a little bit faraway to come right now. In my mindlink, I inform him of what just happened.

He promises to come, then I cut the mind link to focus on what's happening right before me. My dad attracts all the energy inside me, slowly, I shift back to a hum
